AWE X-Pipe for 2005-2008 Chevrolet Corvette C6 6.0L, 6.2L

The early C6 Corvette, with the 6.0L LS2 from 2005 to 2007 and the 6.2L LS3 for 2008, ships with an H-pipe mid section that smooths out much of the V8's character. The AWE X-Pipe replaces it with a bespoke crossover engineered by AWE for the LS platform, merging the two banks for a cleaner, higher-pitched and more exotic note with less rasp at cruise.

AWE handcrafts the X-pipe from 3-inch and 2.5-inch U.S.-sourced, CNC mandrel-bent .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel in a clean, non-baffled, straight-through layout for maximum flow. It is fully modular: the AWE X-pipe works with the factory axle-back, and AWE's Touring and Track Edition axle-backs fit the factory mid section, so you can upgrade in whichever order you like.

The gains are real on this generation. AWE measured up to 16 hp and 17 lb-ft at the wheels with its axle-back on the stock H-pipe, rising to 21 hp and 22 lb-ft when the AWE X-Pipe is added. It installs as a direct bolt-on with no cutting, is engineered, designed and manufactured in-house in Pennsylvania, and carries AWE's Perfect Fitment Guarantee, No Check Engine Light Guarantee and lifetime exhaust warranty.

Yes. It fits the 2005-2007 6.0L LS2 cars and the 2008 6.2L LS3 cars.

Does it fit the Z06 or 2009+ cars?
No. AWE makes separate X-pipes for the Z06/ZR1 and for the 2009-2013 base and Grand Sport.

Do I need an AWE axle-back?
No. It works with the factory axle-back and pairs with AWE Touring and Track Edition axle-backs.
