AWE X-Pipe for 2006-2013 Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06, ZR1

The LS7 in the C6 Z06 and the supercharged LS9 in the ZR1 are two of the most celebrated V8s GM ever built, and the right mid section lets you actually hear them. The AWE X-Pipe for the C6 Z06 and ZR1 replaces the factory mid section with a bespoke crossover that AWE engineered for the LS platform, balancing pulses between the two banks for a smoother, more exotic V8 note with less rasp.

AWE builds this X-pipe from 3-inch U.S.-sourced, CNC mandrel-bent .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel in a clean, non-baffled, straight-through layout that maximizes flow. It is modular by design: the AWE X-pipe is compatible with the factory axle-back, and AWE's Touring and Track Edition axle-backs are compatible with the factory X-pipe, so you can build your system in stages.

Paired with an AWE axle-back, AWE measured maximum gains of 12 hp and 4 lb-ft of torque at the wheels, compared with 11 hp and 3 lb-ft for the axle-back on the stock X-pipe. Like every AWE exhaust part, it is engineered, designed and manufactured in-house in Pennsylvania, installs as a direct bolt-on with no cutting, and carries AWE's Perfect Fitment Guarantee, No Check Engine Light Guarantee and lifetime exhaust warranty.

Does it fit the base C6 Corvette?
No. Base and Grand Sport C6 cars use a different X-pipe from AWE. This one is for the Z06 and ZR1.

Do I need an AWE axle-back?
No. It is compatible with the factory axle-back, and it pairs with AWE Touring and Track Edition axle-backs.

Is it street legal in California?
AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for this X-pipe.
