Brembo Big Brake Kits for BMW G05 X5 (2019-2026)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the fourth-generation BMW X5 (G05), listed by Brembo from the 2019 model year. In the US it covers the sDrive40i, xDrive40i, xDrive45e and xDrive50e plug-in hybrids, M50i and M60i. The G05 is a big, heavy SUV, and many owners tow with it or drive it hard on mountain roads, where the factory brakes run out of heat capacity first. A Brembo GT kit adds braking capacity and a firmer pedal. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

There are three front kits. Two are GT 6-piston kits on 405x34mm two-piece discs in two caliper families (N and T), offered with drilled or Type 3 slotted discs. The third is a GT 8-piston kit on 412x38mm two-piece drilled discs, the same package Brembo lists for the X5 M. The N caliper kit comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S hard-anodized black or GT-R nickel-plated billet. The T caliper kit and the 8-piston kit come in black, red, yellow or fluorescent yellow.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Three front kits are listed first: a GT 6-piston kit on 405x34mm discs (N caliper family), a GT 6-piston kit on 405x34mm discs (T caliper family), and a GT 8-piston kit on 412x38mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 6-piston 405x34mm kit (N caliper): black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); front GT 6-piston 405x34mm kit (T caliper) and front GT 8-piston 412x38mm kit: black, red, yellow, and fluorescent yellow. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 405x34mm kit (N caliper) and front GT 6-piston 405x34mm kit (T caliper); Drilled on the front GT 8-piston 412x38mm kit.

Which X5 models do these fit?
Brembo lists all three kits for the X5 (G05) from the 2019 model year, with no model exclusions on the price sheet.

Which kit should I choose?
The GT 6-piston 405mm kits are the street and towing upgrade. The GT 8-piston 412mm kit is the largest package, for owners who want the most heat capacity, and it needs the most wheel clearance.

Do these kits fit the X5 M?
The X5 M (F95) has its own page with the 8-piston kit Brembo lists for it, so order from that page for an X5 M.

What is the difference between the N and T caliper kits?
Both are 6-piston GT calipers on the same disc size. Brembo lists them as two caliper families with different finish choices: the N caliper offers silver, GT-S and GT-R, and the T caliper offers fluorescent yellow.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 412mm kits need the most room on the X5. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the BMW X5 (G05) 2019-2026. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
