Brembo Big Brake Kits for Acura RSX (2002-2006)

This page lists the Brembo big brake kit we offer for the 2002-2006 Acura RSX: a GT 4-piston front kit on 328x28mm 2-piece discs. The RSX, and the Type-S in particular, is a light, high-revving front-drive coupe that still turns up at autocross and track days. On a front-drive car, the front brakes do most of the stopping, so a front kit is the upgrade that matters. The kit replaces the factory front caliper and disc with a matched Brembo caliper, 2-piece disc and pad package.

Brembo lists the same kit for every RSX, base and Type-S. Choose a caliper finish (black, red or silver) and a disc type (drilled or Type 1 Slotted). The 328mm 2-piece disc is a big step up from the factory front brake.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: One front kit is listed first: a GT 4-piston kit on 328x28mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: every kit on this page comes in black, red, and silver. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc. Every kit offers Drilled and Type 1 Slotted.

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

Yes. Brembo lists this kit for every RSX.

Drilled or Type 1 Slotted?
Drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite. Type 1 Slotted discs suit street cars that also see autocross or occasional track days.

Is there a rear kit?
Brembo lists a front kit only for the RSX.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 328mm kits need the most room on the RSX. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists this kit for the Acura RSX. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems.
