Brembo Big Brake Kits for Audi B5 A4 (1996-2001)

This page lists the Brembo big brake kit we offer for the Audi A4 (B5), sold in the US for the 1996-2001 model years. Brembo lists one front kit for this car: a GT 4-piston caliper on a 332x32mm two-piece disc. The B5 A4 is a popular platform for tuned 1.8T and 2.8L V6 builds, and a larger front brake helps it stop consistently once it has more power. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

The 332mm GT 4-piston kit comes in black, red or silver, with drilled or Type 1 slotted discs. Each finish is sold as a complete front axle set with calipers, two-piece discs, pads and brake lines.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: One front kit is listed first: a GT 4-piston kit on 332x32mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: every kit on this page comes in black, red, and silver. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc. Every kit offers Drilled and Type 1 Slotted.

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

Is there a rear kit for the B5 A4?
Brembo's current application list has a front kit only for the Audi A4 (B5).

Does it fit front-drive and quattro cars?
Brembo lists the kit for the A4 (B5) 1996-2001 without excluding front-drive or quattro models. Send us your VIN if you want us to confirm before you order.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 332mm kits need the most room on the A4. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists the kit on this page for the Audi A4 (B5) 1996-2001. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems.
