Brembo Big Brake Kits for Audi C5 A6 (1998-2004)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the Audi A6 (C5), sold in the US for the 1998-2004 model years. Brembo lists a different front kit for each engine: a GT 4-piston kit on 332x32mm two-piece discs for the A6 2.8, and a GT 4-piston kit on 355x32mm two-piece discs for the A6 2.7T with the factory 4-pad caliper. The twin-turbo 2.7T in particular is a popular tuning platform, and a larger front brake keeps a heavier, faster A6 stopping consistently. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

The kits are listed by engine in the Kit option, so choose the one that matches your car. The A6 2.8 kit comes in black, red or silver, with drilled or Type 1 slotted discs. The A6 2.7T kit comes in black, red or silver, with drilled or Type 3 slotted discs.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: each kit name starts with the cars it fits, so pick your group first. "A6 2.8": front GT 4-piston kit on 332x32mm discs. "A6 2.7T": front GT 4-piston kit on 355x32mm discs. Then choose the axle and kit.
• Finish: every kit on this page comes in black, red, and silver. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 1 Slotted on the "A6 2.8" front GT 4-piston 332x32mm kit; Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the "A6 2.7T" front GT 4-piston 355x32mm kit.

FAQ

Which kit fits my A6?
Choose by engine. Brembo lists the 332mm kit for the A6 2.8 and the 355mm kit for the A6 2.7T with the factory 4-pad caliper. Send us your VIN if you are not sure which engine or brakes your car has.

Is there a rear kit for the C5 A6?
Brembo's current application list has front kits only for the Audi A6 (C5).

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 355mm kits need the most room on the A6. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists the kits on this page for the Audi A6 2.8 (C5) and the A6 2.7T with the 4-pad caliper (C5), 1998-2004. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems.
