Brembo Big Brake Kits for BMW E46 3 Series (1999-2005)

Every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the rear-drive E46 BMW 3 Series is on this page: the 323i, 325i and 328i, and the 330i and 330Ci, 1999-2005. Brembo matches the kits to the engine, so each kit name starts with the models it fits. The 323i, 325i and 328i can choose a 4-piston 320mm 1-piece front kit, 4- and 6-piston 355mm front kits and a 2-piston rear kit. The 330i and 330Ci have their own 355mm front kits and a 4-piston 345mm rear kit.

The E46 is a great-handling chassis, and a bigger front brake is one of the most popular upgrades for street and track use. These kits replace the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package. xDrive (xi) models and the M3 are not covered here; the E46 M3 has its own page.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: each kit name starts with the cars it fits, so pick your group first. "323i, 325i & 328i": front GT 4-piston kit on 320x28mm 1-piece discs, front GT 4-piston kit on 355x32mm discs, front GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs, and rear GT 2-piston kit on 294x19mm 1-piece discs. "330i & 330Ci": front GT 4-piston kit on 355x32mm discs, front GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs, and rear GT 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs. Then choose the axle and kit.
• Finish: "323i, 325i & 328i" front GT 4-piston 320x28mm 1-piece kit: black and red; "323i, 325i & 328i" front GT 4-piston 355x32mm kit, "323i, 325i & 328i" rear GT 2-piston 294x19mm 1-piece kit, "330i & 330Ci" front GT 4-piston 355x32mm kit, and "330i & 330Ci" rear GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit: black, red, and silver; "323i, 325i & 328i" front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit and "330i & 330Ci" front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated). A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. FAQ

Which group is my car in?
The 323i, 325i and 328i (sedan, coupe, wagon or convertible, rear-drive) use the "323i, 325i & 328i" kits. The 330i and 330Ci use the "330i & 330Ci" kits.

Which kit needs knuckle modification?
Brembo notes that the 4-piston 320x28mm 1-piece front kit requires modification to the OEM steering knuckle.

Do these fit an xi model or the M3?
No. Brembo excludes xDrive models, and the E46 M3 has its own kits.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 355mm kits need the most room on the E46. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists the kits on this page for the 1999-2005 BMW 323i, 325i, 328i, 330i and 330Ci (E46), excluding xDrive. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
