Brembo Big Brake Kits for BMW E82 1 Series (2008-2013)

Every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the 2008-2013 BMW 1 Series (E82 coupe and E88 convertible) is on this page: a GT 6-piston front kit on 355x32mm discs for the 128i and 135i, and a GT 4-piston rear kit on 345x28mm discs for the 135i. The 135i in particular, with its turbocharged six, is quick enough to fade the factory brakes on a track day. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

Each kit name starts with the models it fits: "128i & 135i" for the front kit and "135i only" for the rear kit. Both come in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S or GT-R. The front kit has drilled or Type 3 Slotted discs, and the rear kit adds Type 1 Slotted.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: each kit name starts with the cars it fits, so pick your group first. "128i & 135i": front GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs. "135i only": rear GT 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs. Then choose the axle and kit.
• Finish: every kit on this page comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated). A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the "128i & 135i" front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit; Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the "135i only" rear GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit.

FAQ

Is there a rear kit for the 128i?
No. Brembo lists the rear kit for the 135i only.

Does this fit the 1M?
No. Brembo lists these kits for the 128i and 135i only.

Should I add the rear kit to my 135i?
The front kit does most of the work. Add the rear kit for better balance and matching calipers.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 355mm kits need the most room on the 1 Series. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists the kits on this page for the BMW 128i and 135i (E81, E82, E88), 2008-2013, as named in each kit. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
