This page lists the Brembo big brake kit we offer for the BMW M5 (F10), sold in the US for the 2013-2016 model years. The F10 M5 has a 560-horsepower twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 in a large sedan body, and owners who take it to the track want brakes that hold up lap after lap. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

Brembo's current application list has one kit for the F10 M5: a GT 4-piston rear kit on 380x28mm two-piece discs. It comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S hard-anodized black or GT-R nickel-plated billet, with drilled, Type 1 slotted or Type 3 slotted discs.

Please note: Brembo marks the GT 4-piston rear kit on this page NOT FOR ROAD USE, because it eliminate the parking/emergency brake function. It is meant for track cars only. There is no front kit for the F10 M5 on Brembo's current list.

Choosing Your Kit

Kit: Then comes one rear kit: a GT 4-piston kit on 380x28mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
Finish: every kit on this page comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated). A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Every kit offers Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted.

FAQ

Can I use this kit on the street?
No. Brembo marks the M5 rear kit "NOT FOR ROAD USE" because it eliminates the parking/emergency brake function. It is for dedicated track cars.

Is there a front kit for the F10 M5?
Brembo's current application list has a rear kit only for the M5 (F10).

Which models does this fit?
Brembo lists the kit for the M5 (F10) 2012-2017. In the US the F10 M5 was sold for the 2013-2016 model years.

Which finish should I choose?
Black, red, silver and yellow are painted finishes on the standard GT caliper. GT-S is hard-anodized black, and GT-R is machined from billet and nickel-plated, at a higher price.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 380mm kits need the most room on the M5. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists this kit for the BMW M5 (F10) 2012-2017; US cars are 2013-2016 model years. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
