Brembo Big Brake Kits for BMW F26 X4 (2015-2018)

This page lists the Brembo big brake kit we offer for the first-generation BMW X4 (F26), sold in the US for the 2015-2018 model years. The X4 is the coupe-styled sister of the F25 X3, built on the same platform, and it is often driven hard. A Brembo GT kit adds heat capacity and a firmer, more consistent pedal for spirited driving. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

Brembo lists one kit for the F26: a GT 6-piston front kit on 380x32mm two-piece discs. It comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S hard-anodized black or GT-R nickel-plated billet, and is offered with drilled, Type 1 slotted or Type 3 slotted discs.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: One front kit is listed first: a GT 6-piston kit on 380x32mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: every kit on this page comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated). A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Every kit offers Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted.

FAQ

Which X4 models does this fit?
Brembo lists the kit for the X4 (F26) 2015-2018, with no model exclusions on the price sheet.

Is there a rear kit?
No. Brembo lists only the front GT 6-piston kit on 380x32mm two-piece discs for the X4. The front axle does most of the braking, so this is where a big brake kit makes the biggest difference.

Is this the same kit as the F25 X3?
Yes. Brembo lists the same GT 6-piston 380x32mm front kit for the X4 (F26) and the X3 (F25).

Does this kit fit the newer X4?
No. The G02 X4 (2019 on) has its own page with the kits Brembo lists for it.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 380mm kits need the most room on the X4. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists the kit on this page for the BMW X4 (F26) 2015-2018. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
