Brembo Big Brake Kits for BMW F30 3 Series (2012-2018)

Every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the F30-generation BMW 3 Series is on this page: the F30 sedan, F31 Sports Wagon and F34 Gran Turismo, 2012-2018, from the 320i to the 340i. Brembo matches each kit to the model, the body and, importantly, the factory brake package. The kit names therefore start with the cars they fit, for example "M-Sport brakes" or "335i/340i". You can choose a GT 6-piston front kit on 355mm or 380mm discs, a PISTA 6-piston race front kit, and GT and PISTA 4-piston rear kits.

Before you pick, check whether your car has M-Sport brakes. They are the factory blue 4-piston front calipers, and they change which kits fit. A 335i or 340i with M-Sport brakes needs the larger 380mm front kit. For the 2012-2014 328i, Brembo lists different rear kits than for the 2015-2016 328i, so the year matters too.

• Kit: each kit name starts with the cars it fits, so pick your group first. "All except 335i/340i with M-Sport brakes": front GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs. "335i/340i, or any model with M-Sport brakes": front GT 6-piston kit on 380x32mm discs. "F30 sedan except 335i/340i with M-Sport brakes": front PISTA 6-piston kit on 355x35mm discs. "320i & 2012-14 328i RWD, no M-Sport brakes": rear GT 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs and rear PISTA 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs. "No M-Sport brakes, except 320i & 2012-14 328i RWD": rear GT 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs. "M-Sport brakes, except 2012-14 328i RWD": rear GT 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs. "2012-14 328i RWD with M-Sport brakes": rear GT 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs and rear PISTA 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs. • Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days; Type 5 Slotted is a PISTA race disc for long, hot sessions. Specifications

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

FAQ

How do I know if my car has M-Sport brakes?
M-Sport brakes have blue-painted calipers, a 4-piston caliper at the front and a 2-piston caliper at the rear, marked with the M logo. If your calipers are black single-piston units, your car does not have M-Sport brakes.

Which front kit fits my 340i?
A 335i or 340i with M-Sport brakes uses the 380x32mm front kit, "335i/340i, or any model with M-Sport brakes". A 340i without M-Sport brakes can use either the 380x32mm kit or the 355x32mm kit marked "All except 335i/340i with M-Sport brakes".

Why does the 328i year matter?
Brembo lists different rear kits for the 2012-2014 328i and the 2015-2016 328i. Use the rear kit whose name matches your year and brake package.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 380mm kits need the most room on the 3 Series. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists the kits on this page for the 2012-2018 BMW 3 Series (F30, F31, F34) by model, body and brake package, as named in each kit. The F30 sedan PISTA kits are listed for sedans only. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
