Brembo Big Brake Kits for Cadillac CTS-V (2009-2015)

Every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the 2009-2015 Cadillac CTS-V is on this page: a GT 6-piston front kit on 405x34mm discs, a PISTA 4-piston billet race front kit on 380x34mm discs, and a GT 4-piston rear kit on 380x28mm discs. The second-generation CTS-V has a supercharged V8 and weighs over two tons, so it puts a lot of heat into its brakes on a road course. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

Brembo lists all three kits for the CTS-V. The 405mm front kit is the largest GT disc we offer for this car and needs large wheels. The GT kits come in six finishes, including GT-S and GT-R.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Two front kits are listed first: a GT 6-piston kit on 405x34mm discs and a PISTA 4-piston kit on 380x34mm discs. Then comes one rear kit: a GT 4-piston kit on 380x28mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 6-piston 405x34mm kit and rear GT 4-piston 380x28mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); the PISTA kit: a clear-anodized PISTA finish. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days; Type 5 Slotted is a PISTA race disc for long, hot sessions. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 405x34mm kit; Type 5 Slotted on the PISTA kit; Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the rear GT 4-piston 380x28mm kit.

Brembo lists these kits for the 2009-2015 CTS-V without splitting by body style.

Which front kit is right for me?
The GT 6-piston 405mm kit suits road and track-day use. The PISTA 4-piston billet kit with Type 5 discs is a race system.

What is the difference between the GT and PISTA kits?
GT kits are built for road use and track days and come in several caliper finishes. PISTA kits are Brembo's race systems, with disc springs and a centering ring as standard, for cars that run long, hot track sessions.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 405mm kits need the most room on the CTS-V. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the 2009-2015 Cadillac CTS-V. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
