Brembo Big Brake Kits for Chevrolet Corvette C8 (2020-2027)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the mid-engine C8 Chevrolet Corvette from 2020 on, with or without the Z51 package. Up front there are four GT 6-piston kits on 350mm and 380mm discs and a PISTA 6-piston race kit. At the rear there are two GT 6-piston kits and a PISTA 6-piston kit. The C8 carries more of its weight over the rear axle, which is why its rear kits also use 6-piston calipers. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

Please read the rear-kit notes. Brembo marks the GT rear kits NOT FOR ROAD USE as supplied, because they eliminate the parking/emergency brake function. Brembo says they can be used with the OEM emergency brake calipers from the iron-disc Z06 (J56), which the customer must source. Brembo also notes that the GT kits and the PISTA kits for the C8 reuse the OEM brake lines.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Five front kits are listed first: a GT 6-piston kit on 350x34mm discs, a GT 6-piston kit on 380x32mm discs, a GT 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs (N caliper family), a GT 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs (T caliper family), and a PISTA 6-piston kit on 380x35mm discs. Then come three rear kits: a GT 6-piston kit on 380x32mm discs, a GT 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs, and a PISTA 6-piston kit on 380x32mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 6-piston 350x34mm kit, front GT 6-piston 380x32mm kit, front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit (N caliper), and rear GT 6-piston 380x32mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit (T caliper) and rear GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit: black, red, yellow, and fluorescent yellow; all PISTA kits: Brembo's standard PISTA finish. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days; Type 5 Slotted is a PISTA race disc for long, hot sessions. Offered as follows: Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 350x34mm kit; Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 380x32mm kit, front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit (N caliper), front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit (T caliper), rear GT 6-piston 380x32mm kit, and rear GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit; Type 3 Slotted and Type 5 Slotted on all PISTA kits.

Specifications

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

FAQ

Can I use the rear GT kit on the street?
Not as supplied. Brembo marks the C8 rear GT kits NOT FOR ROAD USE because they eliminate the parking/emergency brake. Brembo notes they can be used with the OEM emergency brake calipers from the iron-disc Z06 (J56), sourced by the customer.

Do these fit the Z51?
Yes. Brembo lists every kit on this page for the C8 and C8 Z51.

What is the difference between the N and T caliper kits?
Both are 6-piston GT calipers on the same disc size. Brembo lists them as two caliper families with different finish choices: the N caliper offers silver, GT-S and GT-R, and the T caliper offers fluorescent yellow.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 380mm kits need the most room on the Corvette. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the Chevrolet Corvette C8 and C8 Z51 from 2020 on. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
