Brembo Big Brake Kits for Infiniti Q50 (2014-2024)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the rear-wheel-drive Infiniti Q50 and Q50S from 2014 to 2024. You can choose a GT 6-piston front kit, a PISTA 6-piston race front kit, and a GT 4-piston rear kit. The Q50 is a heavy, fast sport sedan, and the twin-turbo V6 cars in particular can overwhelm the factory brakes on a mountain road or a track day. A Brembo GT system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, 2-piece disc and pad package.

Brembo lists these kits for the Q50 and Q50S excluding AWD, so they fit rear-drive cars only. All three kits use 380mm-class discs, so plan on 19-inch wheels or larger. The front GT kit and the rear kit come in six caliper finishes, including GT-S and GT-R.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Two front kits are listed first: a GT 6-piston kit on 380x32mm discs and a PISTA 6-piston kit on 380x35mm discs. Then comes one rear kit: a GT 4-piston kit on 380x28mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 6-piston 380x32mm kit and rear GT 4-piston 380x28mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); the PISTA kit: Brembo's standard PISTA finish. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days; Type 5 Slotted is a PISTA race disc for long, hot sessions. Offered as follows: Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 380x32mm kit and rear GT 4-piston 380x28mm kit; Type 3 Slotted and Type 5 Slotted on the PISTA kit.

Specifications

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

FAQ

Do these kits fit an AWD Q50?
No. Brembo lists every kit on this page for rear-wheel-drive Q50 and Q50S models only.

Should I add the rear kit?
The front kit does most of the work. Add the matching 380mm rear kit for better balance and heat capacity if the car does regular track days, or if you want the look of matching calipers front and rear.

What is the difference between the GT and PISTA kits?
GT kits are built for road use and track days and come in several caliper finishes. PISTA kits are Brembo's race systems, with disc springs and a centering ring as standard, for cars that run long, hot track sessions.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 380mm kits need the most room on the Q50. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the 2014-2024 Infiniti Q50 and Q50S, excluding AWD models. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
