Brembo Big Brake Kits for Lexus LS (1991-2000)

This page lists the Brembo big brake kits we offer for the 1991-2000 Lexus LS 400. There are two front kits: a GT 4-piston kit on 332x32mm discs and a GT 4-piston kit on 355x32mm discs. The LS 400 is a heavy, rear-drive V8 sedan, and many owners now drive them hard or fit larger wheels, where a bigger front brake pays off. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

Brembo lists both kits for the first- and second-generation LS. Both come in black, red or silver. The 332mm kit has drilled or Type 1 Slotted discs. The 355mm kit has drilled or Type 3 Slotted discs.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Two front kits are listed first: a GT 4-piston kit on 332x32mm discs and a GT 4-piston kit on 355x32mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: every kit on this page comes in black, red, and silver. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 1 Slotted on the front GT 4-piston 332x32mm kit; Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 4-piston 355x32mm kit.

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

FAQ

332mm or 355mm kit?
The 332mm kit fits more wheels and suits street driving. The 355mm kit adds thermal capacity but needs larger wheels.

Is there a rear kit?
Brembo lists front kits only for this LS.

Do these fit the 1995-2000 LS 400?
Yes. Brembo lists both kits for the LS from 1991 to 2000.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 355mm kits need the most room on the LS 400. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists both kits on this page for the 1991-2000 Lexus LS. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems.
