Brembo Big Brake Kits for Mazda Miata ND (2016-2026)

This page lists the Brembo big brake kit we offer for the ND Mazda MX-5 Miata from 2016 on: a GT 4-piston front kit on 328x28mm 2-piece discs, in six caliper finishes including GT-S and GT-R. The ND is a very light roadster, which means its brakes have an easier job than most. Owners who autocross it, run track days or fit stickier tires still benefit from more thermal capacity and a firmer pedal. The kit replaces the factory front caliper and disc with a matched Brembo caliper, 2-piece disc and pad package.

Brembo lists this kit for every ND Miata, soft top and RF. Choose a finish (black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S or GT-R) and a disc type (drilled or Type 1 Slotted). Some Miata Club and Brembo/BBS editions came with factory Brembo front calipers. Those are original-equipment parts; this is Brembo's aftermarket GT system with a larger 2-piece disc.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: One front kit is listed first: a GT 4-piston kit on 328x28mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: every kit on this page comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated). A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc. Every kit offers Drilled and Type 1 Slotted.

FAQ

Does this fit the Miata RF?
Yes. Brembo lists the kit for the ND Miata without splitting by body style.

My Miata already has Brembo calipers. Is this an upgrade?
Yes. The factory Brembo calipers on some Club models are OE parts sized for the factory disc. This GT kit uses its own caliper with a larger 328mm 2-piece disc and new pads.

Is there a rear kit?
Brembo lists a front kit only for the ND Miata.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 328mm kits need the most room on the Miata. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists this kit for the Mazda MX-5 Miata (ND) from 2016 on. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems.
