Brembo Big Brake Kits for Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG (2013-2018)

Every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the 2013-2018 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG and G65 AMG is on this page: a GT 8-piston front kit on 412x38mm discs and two GT 4-piston rear kits on 380x28mm discs. The G-Class is very heavy and very powerful, and a bigger brake gives shorter, more consistent stops. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

Brembo lists all three kits for the G63 and G65 AMG. Brembo notes that the front kit does not include brake lines and reuses the OEM lines. The two rear kits come in the P and S caliper families, which differ in finish choices.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: One front kit is listed first: a GT 8-piston kit on 412x38mm discs. Then come two rear kits: a GT 4-piston kit on 380x28mm discs (P caliper family) and a GT 4-piston kit on 380x28mm discs (S caliper family). Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 8-piston 412x38mm kit and rear GT 4-piston 380x28mm kit (S caliper): black, red, yellow, and fluorescent yellow; rear GT 4-piston 380x28mm kit (P caliper): black, red, silver, and yellow. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Offered as follows: Drilled on the front GT 8-piston 412x38mm kit; Drilled and Type 1 Slotted on the rear GT 4-piston 380x28mm kit (P caliper); Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the rear GT 4-piston 380x28mm kit (S caliper).

Specifications

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

FAQ

Does the front kit include brake lines?
No. Brembo notes that the G63/G65 front system retains the OEM brake lines.

What is the difference between the two rear kits?
Both are 4-piston GT kits on 380x28mm discs. The P caliper kit comes in black, red, silver or yellow; the S caliper kit comes in black, red, yellow or fluorescent yellow.

Do these fit the G65?
Yes. Brembo lists them for the G63 AMG and G65 AMG.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 412mm kits need the most room on the G-Class. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG and G65 AMG (W463), 2013-2018 in the US. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems.
