Brembo Big Brake Kits for Subaru BRZ 2nd Gen (2022-2026)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the second-generation Subaru BRZ (ZD8) from 2022 on. Up front you can choose a GT 4-piston kit on 326mm 1-piece discs, a GT 6-piston kit on 355mm discs, or a PISTA 6-piston race kit. At the rear there is a GT 2-piston kit on 316mm 1-piece discs, a GT 4-piston kit on 345mm discs, and a PISTA 4-piston kit. The BRZ is light and rear-drive, and owners take it to autocross, HPDE and time attack. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

Brembo gives one application for the ZD8 BRZ, so every kit here fits every trim. The 1-piece kits keep cost and weight down and work with smaller wheels. The PISTA kits are for cars that run long track sessions.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Three front kits are listed first: a GT 4-piston kit on 326x30mm 1-piece discs, a GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs, and a PISTA 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs. Then come three rear kits: a GT 2-piston kit on 316x20mm 1-piece discs, a GT 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs, and a PISTA 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 4-piston 326x30mm 1-piece kit: black, red, yellow, and fluorescent yellow; front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit and rear GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); all PISTA kits: Brembo's standard PISTA finish; rear GT 2-piston 316x20mm 1-piece kit: black, red, and silver. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days; Type 3L Slotted is a PISTA race disc; Type 5 Slotted is a PISTA race disc for long, hot sessions. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 1 Slotted on the front GT 4-piston 326x30mm 1-piece kit and rear GT 2-piston 316x20mm 1-piece kit; Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit; Type 3 Slotted, Type 3L Slotted, and Type 5 Slotted on all PISTA kits; Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the rear GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit.

Do the first-generation BRZ kits fit the 2022 car?
Brembo lists the ZD8 BRZ as its own application, so buy from this page for a 2022 or newer car.

What is the most affordable upgrade?
The GT 4-piston front kit on 326x30mm 1-piece discs, in black, red, yellow or fluorescent yellow. Add the 2-piston 316mm rear kit for balance.

Does the rear PISTA kit keep a parking brake?
Yes. Brembo lists the rear PISTA kit with a parking brake.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 355mm kits need the most room on the BRZ. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the Subaru BRZ (ZD8) from 2022 on. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
