Brembo Big Brake Kits for Subaru GD Impreza (2002-2007)

Every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the 2002-2007 Subaru Impreza and WRX (GD sedan and GG wagon) is on this page. Up front there are two GT 4-piston kits on 326mm 1-piece discs, a GT 4-piston kit on 332mm discs, a GT 6-piston kit on 350mm discs, and a PISTA 6-piston race kit. At the rear there is a GT 2-piston kit on 316mm 1-piece discs. The bug-eye, blob-eye and hawk-eye WRX are still popular for rally-cross, autocross and track days. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

Brembo lists every kit for the Impreza and WRX, GD and GG. The 1-piece kits are the most affordable upgrade: the E caliper kit comes in gold, and the S caliper kit comes in black, red, yellow or fluorescent yellow. The STI is not covered on this page.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Five front kits are listed first: a GT 4-piston kit on 326x30mm 1-piece discs (E caliper family), a GT 4-piston kit on 326x30mm 1-piece discs (S caliper family), a GT 4-piston kit on 332x32mm discs, a GT 6-piston kit on 350x34mm discs, and a PISTA 6-piston kit on 355x35mm discs. Then comes one rear kit: a GT 2-piston kit on 316x20mm 1-piece discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 4-piston 326x30mm 1-piece kit (E caliper): gold; front GT 4-piston 326x30mm 1-piece kit (S caliper): black, red, yellow, and fluorescent yellow; front GT 4-piston 332x32mm kit: black, red, and silver; front GT 6-piston 350x34mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); the PISTA kit: Brembo's standard PISTA finish; rear GT 2-piston 316x20mm 1-piece kit: black, red, silver, and gold. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days; Type 5 Slotted is a PISTA race disc for long, hot sessions. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 1 Slotted on the front GT 4-piston 326x30mm 1-piece kit (E caliper), front GT 4-piston 326x30mm 1-piece kit (S caliper), front GT 4-piston 332x32mm kit, and rear GT 2-piston 316x20mm 1-piece kit; Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 350x34mm kit; Type 3 Slotted and Type 5 Slotted on the PISTA kit.

Does this fit the WRX STI?
No. Brembo lists these kits for the Impreza and WRX (GD, GG). The STI is not covered on this page.

What is the most affordable upgrade?
The GT 4-piston front kits on 326x30mm 1-piece discs, paired with the 2-piston 316mm rear kit.

Do these fit the wagon?
Yes. Brembo lists them for the GD sedan and GG wagon.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 350mm kits need the most room on the WRX. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the 2002-2007 Subaru Impreza and WRX (GD, GG). Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
