Brembo Big Brake Kits for Subaru VA WRX STI (2015-2021)

Every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX STI (VA) is on this page, front and rear, in GT, GT-S and GT-R form, plus four PISTA race kits. The STI's turbocharged 2.5-liter and all-wheel drive make it quick on any surface, and owners take it to track days, time attack and rally-cross. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, 2-piece disc and pad package.

Brembo splits the STI kits by model year, and each kit name starts with the years it fits. Kits marked "2015-2021" fit every VA STI. Kits marked "2015-2017 only" are listed for the 2015-2017 car only, so 2018-2021 owners should choose from the "2015-2021" kits. The front PISTA range includes two 355mm kits: one with a forged 2-piece caliper and one with a forged monobloc caliper.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: each kit name starts with the cars it fits, so pick your group first. "2015-2021": front GT 6-piston kit on 350x34mm discs, front PISTA 6-piston kit on 355x35mm discs (forged 2-piece caliper), front PISTA 6-piston kit on 355x35mm discs (forged monobloc caliper), front PISTA 6-piston kit on 380x35mm discs, rear GT 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs, and rear PISTA 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs. "2015-2017 only": front GT 4-piston kit on 355x32mm discs, front GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs, and rear GT 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs. Then choose the axle and kit.
• Finish: "2015-2021" front GT 6-piston 350x34mm kit, "2015-2021" rear GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit, "2015-2017 only" front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit, and "2015-2017 only" rear GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); all PISTA kits: Brembo's standard PISTA finish; "2015-2017 only" front GT 4-piston 355x32mm kit: black, red, and silver. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days; Type 5 Slotted is a PISTA race disc for long, hot sessions. Offered as follows: Type 3 Slotted on the "2015-2021" front GT 6-piston 350x34mm kit and "2015-2021" rear GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit; Type 3 Slotted and Type 5 Slotted on all PISTA kits; Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the "2015-2017 only" front GT 4-piston 355x32mm kit and "2015-2017 only" front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit; Drilled and Type 1 Slotted on the "2015-2017 only" rear GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit.

• PISTA kits: two PISTA calipers, two 2-piece race discs, pads, brackets and hardware; brake lines unless the kit is listed as reusing the factory lines.

Specifications

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

FAQ

I have a 2019 STI. Which kits fit?
Choose any kit marked "2015-2021". The kits marked "2015-2017 only" are not listed by Brembo for 2018-2021 cars.

Which PISTA front kit is right for me?
The forged 2-piece 355mm and 380mm kits suit track-day cars. The forged monobloc 355mm kit is a stiffer race caliper for cars that run long sessions or compete.

Does the rear PISTA kit keep the parking brake?
Yes. Brembo lists the rear PISTA kit with a parking brake.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 380mm kits need the most room on the STI. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists the kits on this page for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX STI (VA). Kits marked "2015-2017 only" are listed for 2015-2017 cars only. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
