Brembo Big Brake Kits for Chevrolet C6 Corvette (2005-2013)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the 2005-2013 C6 Chevrolet Corvette: the base car, Z51, Z06, Grand Sport and the carbon-ceramic cars (ZR1, Z06 Carbon Edition and Z07). That is a big range. Front GT kits run from 4-piston 355mm kits to 6-piston 380mm kits, and there are PISTA race kits front and rear. The C6 is light and fast, and it is one of the most popular cars at HPDE events. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

Brembo matches each kit to the Corvette's factory brake package, so each kit name starts with the cars it fits. "C6 & C6 Z51" kits fit the base car and the 2005-2009 Z51. "Z06 & Grand Sport, iron brakes" kits are for Z06 and Grand Sport cars without carbon-ceramics. "All except carbon-ceramic" kits fit the base car, Z51, Z06 and Grand Sport. Kits marked "carbon-ceramic" are for the ZR1, Z06 Carbon Edition and Z07 package. The 4-piston 355mm GT front kits need knuckle modification.

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

FAQ

How do I find my group?
Start with your model and brake package. Base C6 and 2005-2009 Z51 cars use the "C6" and "C6 Z51" kits. Z06 and Grand Sport cars with iron brakes use the "Z06 & Grand Sport" kits. ZR1, Z06 Carbon Edition and Z07 cars have carbon-ceramic brakes and use the carbon-ceramic kits.

Which kits need knuckle modification?
Brembo notes that the 4-piston 355x32mm front kits (1-piece and 2-piece disc) require modification to the OEM steering knuckle.

Do the rear PISTA kits keep a parking brake?
Yes. Brembo lists the rear PISTA kits on this page with a parking brake.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 380mm kits need the most room on the Corvette. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists the kits on this page for the Chevrolet Corvette C6 (2005-2013), C6 Z51 (2005-2009), Z06 and Grand Sport without carbon-ceramic brakes (2006-2013), and ZR1, Z06 Carbon Edition and Z07 with carbon-ceramic brakes, as named in each kit. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
