The iconic CAPRISTO Valved Exhaust System combines the best of both worlds, offering an aggressive exhaust note during acceleration while providing a more subdued sound for city driving.
This capability is achieved through vacuum-actuated valve flaps that adjust based on driving conditions and driver input. When cruising or at lower engine speeds, the valves remain closed, producing a deeper exhaust note. At wide-open throttle, the valves open, allowing the engine's full symphony to be heard.
The exhaust valves are backpressure-controlled and user-programmable via the included CES-3 Control Module, which provides three modes operated through a remote key fob:
- Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs.
- Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and during hard acceleration.
- Open: Exhaust valves remain open.
Both Cruise and Sport modes can be individually programmed for specific backpressure settings, allowing precise control based on the driver’s preferences.
CAPRISTO Exhaust systems are meticulously engineered and manufactured using advanced 3D laser-scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling at our factory in Germany. Each system is crafted from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. This alloy was selected for its exceptional sonic resonance, lightweight nature, and durability, closely resembling the properties of Inconel used in F1.
CAT DELETE TEST PIPES:
These lightweight test pipes replace the heavy OEM catalytic converters. By removing the catalytic converters, the test pipes eliminate flow restrictions, increase horsepower, and enhance the aggressive engine sound. They are ideal for track days and racing applications.
Lambda or Oxygen Sensor bungs are pre-installed and threaded.
Made from T309 (1.4828) stainless steel.
IMPORTANT
- This exhaust installs directly into existing OEM mounting points.
- Recommended for off-road and track use only.
- Replacing your OEM catalytic converters may trigger a CEL (Check Engine Light). To disable a recurring CEL, you will need to tune the ECU or use O2 sensor extensions
