The CAPRISTO Valved Exhaust System offers a perfect balance between performance and versatility, providing an aggressive exhaust note during acceleration and a more subdued sound for city driving.
Key Features:
-
Vacuum-Actuated Valve Flaps: These flaps automatically open and close based on driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the valves remain closed, delivering a deeper exhaust note. At wide-open throttle, the valves open, unleashing the full symphony of the engine.
-
CES-3 Control Module: The exhaust valves are backpressure-controlled and user-programmable through the included CES-3 Control Module. Operated via a remote key fob, it offers three modes:
- Cruise: Valves open at higher RPMs.
- Sport: Valves open at lower RPMs and during hard acceleration.
- Open: Valves remain open continuously.
Both Cruise and Sport modes can be individually programmed to specific backpressure levels, allowing for precise exhaust control tailored to the driver’s preferences.
Advanced Engineering:
- Precision Manufacturing: CAPRISTO exhaust systems are engineered using advanced 3D laser-scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC bending/milling in our German factory. Each system is crafted from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. This alloy was specifically chosen for its superior sonic resonance, low weight, and durability, with properties closely resembling Inconel, as used in F1 racing.
Sports Cats 250 Cell:
-
High Performance Sports Catalytic Converters: These converters feature a 250-cell-per-square-inch substrate made from the highest quality materials, designed to improve airflow and increase performance.
-
Enhanced Gas Flow: The lower the cell count, the larger the holes within the substrate, allowing for better exhaust gas flow. CAPRISTO Sports Cats are housed in 5.2-inch packages to maximize exhaust gas flow and optimize the operation of the valved exhaust system.
IMPORTANT:
-
Installation: This exhaust system is designed to install directly into existing OEM mounting points.
-
Usage Recommendation: Recommended for off-road and track use only. Replacing OEM catalytic converters may trigger a CEL (Check Engine Light). To resolve this, you may need to tune the ECU or use O2 sensor extensions
