The CAPRISTO exhaust system for the Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 is designed to deliver a balanced increase in power, drivability, and sound quality, while significantly reducing weight. It embodies the CAPRISTO philosophy of offering the best of both worlds, providing a dynamic range of sound from an aggressive note under acceleration to a more subdued tone for city driving.

Valved Exhaust System: Utilizes vacuum-actuated valve flaps that open and close based on driving conditions and driver input. The valves are closed at lower engine speeds and during cruising to produce a deeper exhaust note. At wide-open throttle, the valves open to unleash the full, aggressive sound of the engine.

Control Options: The exhaust valves are backpressure-controlled and can be managed via the included Valve Controller Remote. This remote allows you to:
- Open Valves Permanently: Override the in-series control for a constant aggressive sound.
- Return to In-Series Control: When closed, the system reverts control to the factory settings, allowing for a more subdued sound when desired.
