Overview: The iconic CAPRISTO Valved Exhaust System delivers a versatile sound experience, offering both an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued tone for city driving.
Key Features:
-
Dual Sound Capability:
- Vacuum-Actuated Valve Flaps: The system uses valve flaps that open and close based on driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the valves are closed, producing a deeper exhaust note. At wide-open throttle, the valves open to unleash the full symphony of the engine.
-
Sound Levels:
- Closed Valves: Provides a more aggressive sound compared to the stock system, similar to a CAPRISTO Sound Level 1 system.
- Open Valves: Dramatically enhances the exhaust sound, surpassing even the CAPRISTO Sound Level 3, comparable to the Challenge Stradale’s roar.
-
Twin Sound System:
- Standard Configuration: The system automatically opens the valves at higher RPMs using the car’s standard ECU functionality. This design combines a less aggressive sound at lower RPMs with a race-inspired note at open throttle.
-
Construction and Materials:
- High-Grade Stainless Steel: Made from T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel, selected for its sonic resonance properties, low weight, and durability, comparable to Inconel used in F1.
- Finish: Hand-polished to a mirror finish.
- Manufacturing: Engineered with advanced 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital Prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling at our factory in Germany.

Mounting:
- Imperative: Remove all OEM mountings. Use the exhaust bracket provided with your CAPRISTO system.
- Recommendation: The CAPRISTO-designed mounting is so effective that it is recommended to use it in place of the original support system, even if the OEM silencer is retained.
