The CMS Performance Roll Bar for the Porsche 991 is designed to locate your racing harness shoulder straps at precisely the right angle (0° to -20° front-to-back) and distance (as close as possible, not more than eight inches) to the driver and passenger, regardless of your seat position. Our use of high-tech Docol R8 tubing and main-hoop cross bracing gives you an unobstructed rear view without the need for more extensive braces that roll bars made of Chromoly or mild steel have to use.

CMS Performance designed the rear kickers of the Porsche 991 Roll Bar to bolt to the rear shock towers (same as the factory GT3 Cup roll cage). Using the strongest mounting points adds rigidity to the chassis and suspension to improve handling precision. The CMS Performance main roll hoop is mounted to the steel sub-structure beneath the vehicle just like the factory cage.

Or add specially-engineered Schroth Profi II ASM GT3 or Sabelt Porsche GT3 four-point harnesses to your order for a simpler installation. Both six- and four-point harnesses are specially designed to bolt directly to your Porsche lightweight carbon bucket seats. (Some passenger seats do not have a factory sub-strap pass through.)

When installing six-point harnesses in your Porsche, we strongly recommend adding the CMS Performance Sub Strap Mount to each seat. Custom designed to fit the Porsche lightweight carbon bucket seats, they provide solid, properly located anchors for your anti-submarine straps and are very easy to install alongside your CMS Performance roll bar.

¹ Be sure to select "Yes" under the Sunroof Version option above when ordering a roll bar for your 991 equipped with the factory sunroof. This version is slightly shorter than the non-sun roof roll bar.

² Note: powder coat colors are professionally matched to be as close as possible to factory paint codes. However, color-matching powder is not the same as mixing liquid paint. In a few cases, slight color variance is normal and is not perceptible with the roll bar installed inside the car.
