Overview

Dinan's high-performance dual-core intercooler (D330-0021) is a front-mount upgrade for selected 2012-2016 F-chassis 2-, 3-, and 4-Series cars with the N20, N26, or N55 engine. The dual-core design presents about 240 percent of the stock face area so charge air spends more time in the cooler before it reaches the throttle. On the dyno Dinan measures +15 horsepower and +13 lb-ft at 6,250 rpm on N55 cars and +6 horsepower and +5 lb-ft at 5,500 rpm on N20/N26 cars, on otherwise stock vehicles.

This is not a universal F22/F30/F32 cooler. Dinan's installation instructions exclude any car with Active Cruise Control, every F23 or F33 convertible regardless of bumper, and any F22, F32, or F36 with the standard (non-M Sport / non-M235i style) bumper. If your bumper or ACC package does not match the approved list, do not order this part expecting it to fit. Labor is rated at about 4.5 hours and the job assumes familiarity with BMW service procedures.

The cooler is 50-state legal under CARB EO D-176-51 (emission code 1). Coverage follows Dinan's standard limited warranty: the remainder of the vehicle factory limited warranty (up to 4 years / 50,000 miles) or 2 years / unlimited miles, whichever is greater. US F31 328i xDrive Sports Wagon years are included because Dinan's instructions list that wagon explicitly; F31 was sold here as the 328i xDrive wagon.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
