Eventuri Black Carbon Intake for Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 Coupe

The Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System represents a ground-up reengineering of the factory intake architecture for the Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 Coupe, developed specifically for the high-revving LT6 engine. Eventuri engineered this system to dramatically increase intake volume while optimizing airflow efficiency, addressing the inherent constraints of the factory airbox design originally derived from the LT3 Stingray platform. The organically shaped carbon fiber intake layout paired with Eventuri's patented Venturi housing technology creates a smoother, less restrictive path for incoming air while maintaining high velocity toward the engine.

Dyno testing validates substantial performance improvements across the entire rev range, with measured gains of approximately 19 wheel horsepower and 18 ft-lb of torque at peak output. Mid-range performance shows even more significant benefits, delivering up to 42 wheel horsepower and 44 ft-lb of torque where the LT6 engine benefits most. As airflow demand rises through the mid-range and upper RPM band, the system maintains efficient breathing under load while sharpening throttle response throughout the power curve.

Eventuri developed the system with Corvette specialists Paragon Performance in Iowa, who dyno tested each prototype in a temperature-controlled cell. The final version gained about 19 whp and 18 lb-ft at peak and up to 42 whp and 44 lb-ft between 3,500 and 5,500 rpm, which removes the mid-range flat spot owners notice on the stock car.

Carbon ducts carry ambient air from the side vents into the housing, each sealed with a neoprene gasket at three fixing points. Inside, two reverse-mounted filters sit behind aluminum cowls, and the housing narrows smoothly into two MAF tubes, one for each bank of the plenum.

Every component is manufactured using prepreg carbon fiber construction with precision-engineered hardware, delivering factory-level fitment with motorsport-inspired design. The black carbon construction provides both functional benefits and visual appeal, highlighted by the replacement clear polycarbonate trunk panel that showcases the intake system when opened. This exposed carbon construction demonstrates the engineering behind the system while maintaining proper heat management.

The patented Venturi housing technology defines this intake's airflow optimization approach, working in conjunction with the organically shaped carbon fiber layout to eliminate restrictions found in the OEM system. The replacement trunk panel continues to support thermal stability while providing visibility to the carbon intake components.
