Eventuri Carbon Intake for Mercedes-AMG GLC63 / GLC63 S 2020-2023

The Eventuri black carbon intake system for the Mercedes-AMG GLC63 and GLC63 S replaces both factory airboxes on the M177 4.0L twin-turbo V8 with fully sealed pre-preg carbon assemblies. It fits the first-generation X253 SUV and C253 Coupe.

To raise flow, Eventuri used every bit of available volume in the factory airbox location and redesigned the internal shape to remove sharp transitions. On the flow bench each Eventuri airbox measured 531 CFM against 381 CFM for the stock airbox, an increase of about 39%.

On the M177 the turbochargers sit close to the intake, so engine-bay heat is the main design constraint. The fully sealed carbon housings keep hot bay air out of the intake even under sustained load, and the organically shaped path carries air from the bespoke rounded panel filters to the turbo inlets with little turbulence.

Eventuri reports 10-12 hp and 12-15 lb-ft on stock cars and 22-30 hp and 20-24 lb-ft on Stage 2 tuned cars. Each airbox is built from separate pre-preg upper and lower sections around the filter, with billet aluminum filter flanges setting an accurate seal and OEM mounting locations retained.
