Eventuri Carbon Intake for Audi B9 RS5 Coupe / Sportback 2018-2025

The Eventuri black carbon intake system for the Audi B9 RS5 Coupe and Sportback replaces the factory airbox and convoluted inlet connection on the 2.9L twin-turbo V6. In independent back-to-back dyno testing on an otherwise stock B9 RS5, Eventuri reports gains of 11-16 wheel horsepower and 12-17 lb-ft at the wheels.

The factory intake uses a flexible, convoluted rubber section between the airbox and the turbo inlet tube. Eventuri replaces it with a rigid carbon Venturi housing whose intake tube is formed as part of the housing and runs straight to the factory turbo inlet connection, so there is no flexible section left in the airflow path.

The housing encloses a bespoke reverse-mounted Generation 2 dry filter and narrows gradually toward the outlet, guiding air around the filter and into the turbo tube without abrupt changes in section. It bolts to the engine and moves with it, while an expanding seal on the duct face keeps the joint to the fixed carbon duct closed.

Heat management matters in the B9 RS bay. A sealed carbon duct takes ambient air from the grille, fed by a carbon front scoop with a continuous bend radius, and a carbon secondary duct replaces the factory plastic section at the slam panel. A second opening draws from a cooler area of the bay. Testing was done hood-closed with intake temperatures monitored.

Fitment Notes

• Fits the B9 RS5 Coupe and RS5 Sportback with the 2.9L twin-turbo V6. It also fits the B9 RS4 Avant, which was not sold in the US. Not for the S4, S5 or 2.0T models.
