Eventuri Black Carbon Intake V2 for Mercedes-AMG C63 / C63 S 2015-2021

The Eventuri black carbon intake system V2 for the Mercedes-AMG C63 and C63 S replaces the factory airboxes on the M177 4.0L twin-turbo V8 with two enlarged, fully sealed pre-preg carbon assemblies. It keeps the factory cold-air feeds and rebuilds the whole path from the slam panel to the turbocharger inlets.

The factory system is limited by how little room there is between the panel filters and the turbo connections. Above the filter the stock upper airbox narrows to 23mm; the Eventuri upper section reaches 56mm. The lower inlet grows from about 43mm to 74mm once the convoluted flexible section is removed, roughly 84% more inlet area.

Each airbox holds a bespoke rounded panel filter made from a double layer of dry, ISO 5011 tested media. The rounded profile removes the sharp corners of a conventional rectangular filter that break up airflow. On a SuperFlow SF-1020 flow bench at 28 inches of water, Eventuri measured 531 CFM per airbox against 381 CFM stock, about 39% more.

Eventuri reports 10-12 hp and 12-15 lb-ft on stock cars and 22-30 hp and 20-24 lb-ft on Stage 2 tuned cars. Pre-preg carbon front ducts carry air from the oval slam panel openings into the airbox bases, sealed with custom EPDM couplers, and the sealed housings keep heat from the closely mounted turbochargers away from the intake charge.

• This part number is for cars with factory turbochargers. Cars with larger aftermarket turbochargers need the special-order version (EVE-C63S-TRB-CF-INT) with 3-inch outlets; call us to order it.
• Fits the W205 sedan, C205 coupe and A205 cabriolet C63 and C63 S with the M177 V8. Not for the C43, C300 or the W206 C63 S E Performance.
