Eventuri Black Carbon Intake for Volkswagen MK8 Golf R 2022-2026

The Eventuri black carbon intake system for the Volkswagen MK8 Golf R is a complete high-flow induction system that replaces the factory intake from the airbox through to the turbo inlet. It is built to support stock cars as well as heavily modified builds running hybrid or full-frame turbochargers.

Rather than upgrade single sections and keep restrictive factory parts, Eventuri engineered the MK8 intake as one system. The factory 73mm inlet tube is replaced by a 94mm silicone tube that keeps the housing outlet diameter for as much of its length as the routing allows, closing down only where it meets the stock turbo inlet.

At its center is Eventuri's patented carbon Venturi filter housing, shaped around the tight MK8 engine bay. It keeps engine-bay heat off the filter and accelerates air steadily from the filter face to the outlet. Inside is a bespoke 192mm (7.5-inch) dry cone filter with more than 110,000 square millimeters of filter area.

Cold air comes through a full-width pre-preg carbon duct that seals to the factory slam panel, plus a secondary opening behind the hood line that Eventuri rates as equal to another 7-inch inlet. On a SuperFlow SF-1020 at 28 inches of water, the factory Golf R intake flowed 455 CFM and the Eventuri system 783 CFM, a 72% increase.
