Overview

The Eventuri black carbon intake for the B48A20T2 2.0L turbo is a fully sealed, high-volume system for the latest generation of BMW front-drive based M Performance models: the F74 M235 xDrive Gran Coupe, U10 X2 M35i and U11 X1 M35i.

In the factory airbox the air enters at the front, turns ninety degrees through the panel filter, then turns ninety degrees again toward the hose. Eventuri replaces it with a patented carbon Venturi housing that holds a reverse-mounted Generation 2 filter behind an aluminum cowl and narrows smoothly into an integrated sensor section, so the filter and tube are one piece with no join to disturb the flow.

The carbon inlet duct draws from the same factory feed behind the front bumper but reaches the filter by a smoother route with more internal volume, and an expandable rubber edge keeps it sealed as the engine moves. A custom flexible coupler at the turbo end absorbs engine movement while the carbon housing stays fixed.

The kit mounts to factory locations with hidden brackets and the original MAF sensor moves into the Eventuri housing, giving a cleaner engine bay with high-gloss prepreg carbon.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
