Eventuri E85 / E86 Z4M Hybrid Carbon Airbox System

The Eventuri Hybrid Carbon Airbox System pairs a prepreg carbon fiber airbox with a purpose-built Venturi intake to give the S54-powered BMW E85 / E86 Z4M an authentic CSL-style induction note without sacrificing MAF functionality or street manners. Because the Z4M engine bay packaging differs from the E46 M3, this system ships as a complete kit — the factory intake cannot be carried over — and the matched airbox-and-intake pairing handles all routing, sealing, and sensor placement as a single unit.

The airbox shell is autoclave-cured prepreg carbon fiber, shaped with CFD-modeled internal geometry that allows the structure to resonate under load and produce the CSL-inspired tone while keeping the airflow path stable for the OEM mass airflow sensor. Because the MAF reading remains consistent, no ECU tune or Alpha-N conversion is required — drivability, fueling, and throttle response stay at OEM levels. The intake side uses Eventuri's patented Venturi carbon housing, which accelerates incoming air and maintains laminar flow toward the throttle body, and a dedicated carbon cold-air scoop channels ambient air into the intake to keep IATs in check under sustained load. Eventuri has not published Z4M-specific dyno figures; on the closely related E46 M3 architecture, the platform is estimated to add 20–22 hp and 8–13 ft-lb.

The kit ships with the carbon fiber main airbox, a carbon snorkel with CNC-machined MAF boss, thermoplastic intake trumpets with stainless steel reinforcement rings, the Venturi carbon filter housing with a bespoke high-flow dry filter, the Z4M-specific intake system, the carbon cold-air scoop, stainless mounting brackets, CNC-machined breather adapters, a crankcase breather hose, additional vacuum tubing, and silicone and EPDM flexible couplers. Fitment is dedicated to the BMW E85 Roadster and E86 Coupe Z4M with the S54 engine, and the system is designed and hand-assembled in the UK.
