Overview

Fabspeed 993 Carrera Supersport X-Pipe Exhaust: a rear X-pipe exhaust for the normally aspirated 993 that replaces the factory catalytic converter and side mufflers, saving about 40 lbs, for the 1995-1998 Porsche 993 Carrera. It saves 40 lbs over the factory parts it replaces.

Design

A rear X-pipe replaces the factory catalytic converter and both side mufflers, routing the exhaust through twin straight-through resonators or HJS sport catalytic converters to dual 90-degree outlets at the rear.

Weight

The Fabspeed system weighs about 19 lbs versus roughly 59 lbs for the factory parts it replaces, a saving of about 40 lbs at the rear of the car.

Sound

The X-pipe blends both banks of the air-cooled flat six for an aggressive, smooth sound. The outlets can be turned toward the ground to lower the volume by about 3 dB.

Installation

Bolt-on installation with hand tools and no cutting or welding. Professional installation is recommended.

Fitment note

Fits US-model normally aspirated 993 Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera S, Carrera 4S, Targa and Cabriolet (1995-1998). Choose the header flange that matches your car: Bischoff on 1995 to mid-1996 cars, Gillett on mid-1996 to 1998 cars. Wide body is for Carrera S and Carrera 4S. Does not fit the 993 Turbo.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
