Overview

Fabspeed 997.2 Carrera Valved Exhaust System: a complete valved exhaust that replaces the side and center mufflers, giving a smooth flat-six tone with valves closed and a raw, race-bred sound with them open, for the 2009-2012 Porsche 997.2 911 Carrera. It saves 11 lbs over the factory parts it replaces.

Sound

In Fabspeed's words: "With the valves closed the exhaust note has a classic smooth flat-six sound that is slightly louder than stock. It’s totally drone-free and in-cabin conversations are as easy as they were when stock."

Valves

Helical vacuum-actuated exhaust valves from the UK let you switch at the push of a button. Closed, the exhaust runs through the resonated X-pipe for a strong but civil tone. Open, it flows straight through for a raw, race-bred sound.

PSE or standard exhaust

Cars with the factory Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) have a PSE button on the center console. Choose the option that matches your car so the valves are controlled correctly.

Installation

Bolt-on installation with no cutting or welding. Professional installation is recommended.

Fitment note

Fits US-model 997.2 911 Carrera and Carrera S (2009-2012). 2012 was a split model year, so confirm your car is a 997.2 and not a 991 before ordering. For Carrera 4, 4S and GTS models, call us to confirm fitment.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
