Overview

Fabspeed 911 Carrera Maxflo Exhaust is a street muffler for the classic 1976-1989 Porsche 911: the 911S 2.7, the 911SC and the Carrera 3.2. It gives the air-cooled flat-six a deeper, throatier sound that stays at a street-friendly volume, so it is exciting on a back road without droning on the highway. Fabspeed measured +4 whp and +4 lb-ft with better throttle response.

Single or dual outlet

The single-outlet version uses one Deluxe 4.5 inch oval tip in the factory position. The dual-outlet version adds a second tip on the other side; Fabspeed notes the factory rear bumper needs a small modification for the second outlet.

How it is built

Maxflo mufflers use radius stress-relieved, hydro-formed cases that are pulse TIG welded and packed with 2000-degree ceramic fiber and stainless steel wool. The rest of the system is T304L stainless steel, CNC mandrel-bent from 14-16 gauge 2.25 inch tubing.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
