Overview

Fabspeed 996 Carrera Supercup Exhaust System: a race-inspired muffler replacement that gives the 996 Carrera a loud, raw Supercup sound, for the 1999-2004 Porsche 996 Carrera.

Sound

In Fabspeed's words: "With only two short resonators in place on the huge OEM baffled muffler, this system is loud and aggressive. The Supercup is significantly louder than our Maxflo Exhaust option, but if you're looking for an aggressive exhaust note and you're not worried about how loud it is, this is the system for you!"

Sound and use

Replacing the factory mufflers makes the exhaust louder, especially at cold start and wide-open throttle. Expect more drone at highway speeds than with the factory system. Installation uses the factory mounting points and hardware.

Installation

Plan for a professional install. The part bolts to the factory mounting points, and the factory gaskets can be reused if they are in good condition. Re-torque the fasteners after the first heat cycle.

Fitment note

Fits 1999-2004 996 Carrera, Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S coupes, cabriolets and Targas as sold in the US (the EPA lists these under 911 Carrera, Carrera 2 and Carrera 4). Pick short tips for 1999-2001 cars, long tips for 2002-2004 cars, the C4S tips for a Carrera 4S, or reuse your factory tips. Works with the factory cats or a Fabspeed sport cat or cat bypass X-pipe. Factory PSE tips do not fit this system.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
