Overview

A GiroDisc front caliper dust boot kit for the 2009-2024 Nissan GT-R. Track heat hardens and cracks the rubber dust boots around the caliper pistons, which lets grit reach the piston bores. Fresh boots keep the pistons clean and protected, and they make a worn caliper look like new again.

Why replace the boots

Dust boots seal the gap between each piston and its bore. After a few too many hot track days, the rubber hardens, shrinks and splits. Grit and moisture then reach the piston surface, which can score the piston and wear the seal behind it. Replacing the boots before that happens protects the caliper and keeps it looking fresh.

Made to GiroDisc's specification

These boots are made to GiroDisc's specifications for this caliper. Clean each piston and boot groove before fitting the new boots, and check the piston seals while the caliper is open. If the seals are tired too, GiroDisc's caliper rebuild kits include seals and boots together.

Protect the caliper

GiroDisc recommends pairing fresh dust boots with its titanium pad shields, which cut the heat that reaches the boots and pistons and lengthen service intervals.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.
