GiroDisc Rear Caliper Rebuild Kit 2009-2024 Nissan GT-R

A GiroDisc rear caliper rebuild kit for the 2009-2024 Nissan GT-R. Hard track driving cooks the piston seals and dust boots inside a caliper long before the caliper itself is worn. This kit replaces them, so the pistons seal and retract properly again and the caliper looks and works like new.

Why rebuild

Piston seals do more than stop fluid leaks. They also pull the pistons back slightly when you release the pedal, which keeps pad drag and knock-back in check. Once track heat has cooked them, pedal feel suffers and pads wear unevenly. Cooked dust boots crack and let grit reach the piston bores. Rebuilding with fresh seals and boots restores both jobs for far less than new calipers.

The dust boots and piston seals are made to GiroDisc's specifications for this caliper. Clean the bores and pistons carefully, inspect the pistons for scoring, lubricate the new seals with fresh brake fluid or assembly lube, and bleed the system once the caliper is back on the car.
