GiroDisc 380mm Front Replacement Rings 2021-2027 BMW M3 M4 M2 G8X

If you already run GiroDisc 2-piece front rotors on a G80 M3, G82 or G83 M4 or G87 M2, you only need new iron when the rings wear out. You don't need a whole rotor. These Giro Disc 380mm front replacement rings bolt onto your existing GiroDisc hats. That is the lowest-cost way to keep a track-driven G8X stopping like new, season after season.

Same rings as a new GiroDisc rotor

The rings are the same parts GiroDisc fits to its complete G8X front rotor (A1-282). The high-carbon iron casting is made to GiroDisc's own spec, and its 72 curved vanes compare with 30 in the factory disc, which pulls more cooling air through the ring under hard braking. Slots keep the pad face fresh and the bite consistent from the first stop to the last lap. Each ring comes with new floating hardware, so the rebuilt rotor floats and centers itself just like a new assembly.

When to replace

Replace the rings when they reach the 34mm minimum thickness, or sooner if a crack reaches the outer edge of the ring. Swapping rings on the bench takes far less time than buying and shipping complete rotors, and the hats can be reused for years.

These rings only work with GiroDisc hats. They do not fit BMW factory hats or other brands. They are for cars that came with factory iron brakes, not M Carbon Ceramic. The G81 M3 Touring was not sold in North America, so it is not listed.
