Overview
M-Engineering's off-the-shelf maps cover the common setups. When your 9X2 has a parts configuration that is not in the map notes, or you want every ounce of safe power, a ProTune customizes your calibration remotely. It is offered to owners of the M-Tuner Suite for the 992 Carrera, the 992 Turbo and the 982 718 GT4, Spyder and GTS 4.0; M-Tuner is required.
The price covers one map, built for your parts configuration and one fuel. M-Engineering keeps revising that map from your datalogs and feedback until both sides are happy with the result. Cars running an auxiliary methanol system or upgraded turbos are more complex to calibrate, so choose the second configuration in the selector. On the 992 Turbo and Turbo S, 4BAR MAP sensors are required for any turbocharger upgrade.
ProTunes are scheduled in advance with more than 24 hours notice, must be approved by M-Engineering, and are carried out during business hours, 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern, Monday to Friday. A dyno is highly recommended and in most cases required; dyno rental is not included. A signed liability waiver is also required.

Frequently asked questions
Is a ProTune a bench flash or an OBD flash?
Neither part of your car is mailed in. The ProTune is written remotely and loaded through the M-Tuner Suite you already own, which flashes the ECU at home over the OBD-II port.
How much power will a ProTune add?
M-Engineering does not quote a figure for ProTuning. The gain depends on your parts, fuel and dyno results, and the map is refined from your datalogs until the result is right for your car.
Which configuration should I choose?
Choose stock fuel and turbos if your car has no auxiliary fuel system and runs the factory turbochargers. Choose the upgraded configuration if your 9X2 has methanol injection or upgraded turbos installed.
Does one ProTune cover several fuels?
No. The price is for one map based on your parts configuration and one fuel. Additional fuel maps are a separate request to M-Engineering.

Shipping & returns
Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.
Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.
Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.
Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.
Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
