Overview

M-Engineering's ECU flash for the Ferrari F8 Tributo and F8 Spider increases boost, improves throttle response, removes the top speed limiter and revises air/fuel ratios and ignition timing on the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8.

M-Engineering quotes approximately +100whp and +100 lb-ft for Stage 1 on a stock car, and approximately +112whp and +120 lb-ft for Stage 2, measured at the wheels. M-Engineering does not state the fuel used for these figures. Dyno plots are listed by M-Engineering as coming soon. M-Engineering states that the factory safety strategies stay in place, so the car keeps the protections Ferrari engineered into the stock calibration.

Installation is a bench procedure. The F8 ECU is removed and sent to M-Engineering HQ, where the calibration is flashed, and it is returned to you. M-Engineering's typical turnaround is about 24 hours after the ECU arrives, so plan for shipping time in both directions. No flashing tool or license is needed for this product. On the F8, the ECU sits in the passenger rear fender well, behind the fender liner.
