M-Engineering ID1050-XDS Fuel Injectors Set of 16 for McLaren Senna 2019

This is a set of 16 Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS fuel injectors for the McLaren Senna and its 4.0-liter M840T twin-turbo V8. M-Engineering describes the ID1050-XDS as the best and most documented aftermarket injector available for McLaren, and it is the same injector M-Engineering uses in all of its staged power packages. With 16 injectors in the set, every factory injector in the M840T is replaced.

The ID1050-XDS uses Dual Slope Matching, which matches flow rate in both the linear and nonlinear operating ranges. That gives better cylinder-to-cylinder consistency at low pulse widths, where idle quality and part-throttle drivability are decided. Corrosion-resistant internals make the injector compatible with all known fuels and give it a long service life with corrosive fuels, a stronger magnetic circuit keeps operation stable up to 10 bar, and a replaceable inlet filter extends service life.

M-Engineering offers this injector for M-Tuner owners moving up to Stage 2+. The injectors are a hardware install. The calibration side runs on M-Tuner: on a McLaren, M-Tuner needs a one-time bench unlock with the ECU mailed to M-Engineering HQ, and after that every flash is done at home over OBD-II. Stage 2+ also requires aftermarket high-flow downpipes, which are not included.
