M-Engineering's PDK tuning for the 991.2 911 GT2 RS adds a slew of intricate transmission features that did not come from the factory, and it is all done over the OBD-II port. It is a software upgrade to M-Engineering's M-Tuner ECU tune, loaded with the same OBD2 dongle you received with that purchase; no physical product is shipped.

The calibration revises the PDK shift schedules, cuts clutch fill time and paddle-to-shift time, and changes behavior such as creep and continuous slip so the gearbox suits a tuned engine. M-Engineering's 991.2 ECU tuning via M-Tuner is required to run the PDK mapping; it cannot be combined with stock ECU mapping or other companies' ECU tunes.

Because there is nothing to remove or ship, the upgrade is installed from your laptop the same way as your engine maps, and the car stays in your garage.

Is this a bench flash or an OBD flash?
OBD. The PDK calibration is flashed through the OBD-II port with the M-Tuner dongle you already have from your ECU tune. Nothing is removed from the car and nothing is shipped.

Does PDK tuning add horsepower?
No power figure is claimed. It changes shift schedules, clutch fill and paddle response so the transmission works better with your tuned engine; the power comes from the M-Tuner ECU maps.

Can I use it without M-Engineering's ECU tune?
No. M-Engineering's 991.2 ECU tuning via M-Tuner is required, and the PDK mapping cannot be combined with a stock ECU or other ECU tunes.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
