Overview

M-Engineering PDK tuning reprograms the dual-clutch transmission in the 991.1 GT3 / GT3 RS to match a tuned engine. The transmission control unit is removed and sent to M-Engineering HQ, flashed on the bench and returned, typically about 24 hours after it arrives.

Shift points are optimized for each drive mode, clutch pressure is adjusted, and launch control, shift firmness, shift speed and paddle-to-shift time are all refined. Track-focused features such as dual-paddle neutral and continuous slip control are part of the package. Because the transmission calibration is written around M-Engineering's engine software, the car must also run the M-Engineering 991.1 GT3 ECU calibration.

Is this a bench flash or an OBD flash?
Bench. The PDK control unit comes out of the car and goes to M-Engineering HQ, where it is flashed and returned, usually about 24 hours after it arrives.

Does PDK tuning add horsepower?
No power figure is claimed for this product. It changes how the transmission shifts, clamps and launches so it works with the tuned engine; engine power comes from the M-Engineering ECU calibration.

Can I use it with a stock ECU or another tune?
No. M-Engineering states its PDK calibration is not compatible with a stock ECU or with other ECU tunes.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.
