M-Engineering PDK2 Tune for Porsche 992.1 911 Turbo / Turbo S 2021-2024

The PDK2 dual-clutch transmission in the Porsche 992.1 911 Turbo and Turbo S is calibrated by the factory for a stock engine. Once the engine is tuned, M-Engineering's PDK2 calibration lets the gearbox keep up: it shortens paddle-to-shift times in manual mode, raises clutch pressures and maximum clamping force so the clutches hold more torque, and revises the virtual gears.

It is also built for modified cars. On request M-Engineering raises the launch RPM, and for cars running bigger turbos it adds higher auto-shift RPM so the engine can use the extra top end. PDK2 tuning is only available for cars running M-Engineering's M-Tuner ECU tune; it is not compatible with other ECU tunes.

This is a bench calibration. You remove the PDK2 module and ship it to M-Engineering, which designs and flashes an off-the-shelf PDK2 calibration to suit your engine calibration, modifications and how you use the car, then returns it. Typical turnaround is about 24 hours after the module arrives. If M-Engineering releases new PDK2 software later, updates are free for the original purchaser; only shipping is extra.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a bench flash or an OBD flash?
Bench. The PDK2 module has to be removed from the car and shipped to M-Engineering, where it is flashed and sent back, usually about 24 hours after it arrives. The engine ECU tune itself is a separate product.

Does PDK2 tuning add horsepower?
No engine power figure is claimed. The calibration changes shift timing, clutch clamping, virtual gears and launch behavior so the gearbox can handle and use the extra torque from your engine tune.

Can every 992.1 Turbo PDK2 module be flashed?
Not all of them. Some later 2025 992.1 Turbo and Turbo S cars have a PDK2 module with a new processor that is locked and encrypted, and those modules cannot be flashed at this time. M-Engineering can only tell which processor you have once the module is sent in.
