M-Engineering ProTune for McLaren M838T 2012-2020

ProTune is M-Engineering's custom calibration service for M838T McLarens that already run the M-Tuner Calibration Suite. Instead of an off-the-shelf map, a calibrator builds a file around your exact parts and fuel, either remotely or at M-Engineering's South Florida dyno.

Each ProTune covers one octane and includes a time block of up to seven hours. It also enables the M838T Motorsport Features Package at no charge. Additional octane maps, and cars with upgraded fuel or turbo systems, carry an additional fee from M-Engineering.

Frequently asked questions

Is ProTune done on the bench or over OBD?
ProTune runs on top of M-Tuner, so it uses the same OBD-II connection after the one-time ECU unlock that M-Tuner needs. The calibration is delivered remotely or done at M-Engineering's South Florida dyno.

How much power does a ProTune add?
There is no fixed number. A ProTune is written for your parts and fuel, so the result depends on the car. For published M838T figures, see the M-Tuner and Stage 3 packages.

Is there anything to sign?
Yes. M-Engineering requires a signed liability waiver, and its scheduling and rescheduling policy applies.
