Overview

The Stage 1+ package combines M-Engineering's M-Tuner Suite for the 991.2 911 GT2 RS with IPD intake hardware. M-Engineering's off-the-shelf Stage 1 and Stage 2 maps are compatible with the IPD parts, so you get the intake upgrade and a matching calibration in one order. The PSE valve modification is enabled on the GT2 RS maps.

M-Tuner flashes the 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six at home through the OBD port with no ECU removal, using a Windows laptop. Maps for 91, 93 and 100 octane come with On-The-Fly Live Map Switching, Auto Start/Stop is disabled on the off-the-shelf maps, and the software reads and clears faults, datalogs and shows live data.

You can flash back to stock whenever you like; the uninstall restores the original CALID and CVN. M-Engineering publishes wheel dyno charts in its calibration notes and says Stage 2 is generally about 20 to 40 whp more than Stage 1.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a bench flash or an OBD flash?
OBD. The 991.2 911 GT2 RS ECU is flashed at home through the OBD-II port with the M-Tuner dongle in the package, so it is never mailed in. The hardware is a normal bolt-on install.

How much power does the package make?
M-Engineering does not publish a fixed figure for this package. It publishes wheel dyno charts in its calibration notes and states that Stage 2 is generally about 20 to 40 whp more than Stage 1; results depend on the car, fuel and hardware.

Can I return the car to stock?
Yes. M-Tuner flashes back to stock whenever you like, and the uninstall restores the original CALID and CVN. The bolt-on hardware would need to be removed separately.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
