Overview

For stock-turbo M838T McLarens, the M-Engineering Stage 2+ Power Package adds flex-fuel capability to the M-Tuner platform. The kit combines the M-Tuner Calibration Suite, the M838T Motorsport Tuning Package, Injector Dynamics ID1050x injectors and an injector harness built for M-Engineering that plugs straight into the OEM main engine harness.

With the bigger injectors fitted, the calibration can run E85, which M-Engineering says delivers race-fuel-like performance. Live map switching lets you change between pump gas and E85 maps without reflashing.

Aftermarket downpipes of 3 in or larger are required by the Stage 2+ calibration and are not included.
This kit is for stock turbos. Upgraded-turbo cars belong in the M838T Stage 3 package.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a bench flash or an OBD flash?
It starts on the bench and then moves to OBD. The M838T ECU is removed once and mailed to M-Engineering HQ for a one-time unlock. Once it is back in the car, you load maps, switch stages and update calibrations yourself through the OBD-II port with the wireless M-Tuner v3 dongle and a Windows 10 or 11 PC.

How much power does Stage 2+ make?
M-Engineering does not quote a single number for this package. It says E85 gives race-fuel-like performance, and its calibration notes carry the dyno plots.

Which cars does it fit?
M838T-engined McLarens with stock turbochargers. The US models are listed in the fitment table below.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
